Bulgaria is not an expensive country. Visitors from Western Europe and America find prices in Bulgaria 2-3 times cheaper. Here are some examples of prices in Bulgaria (stores/shops):
- a beer in a Bar is about 0.40 EUR
- a bottle of wine is 2 EUR
- bulgarian feta (white) chees is about 2 EUR
- cigarettes in Bulgaria are also evry cheap - you can buy Marlboro, Camel and all other premium cigarettes brands in Bulgaria at discount prices
- textiles, shoes etc. are also cheap but you have to be careful not to mix them with low quality turkish imitations.
