Adoption from Bulgaria
There are many orphanages in Bulgaria, but not all children in orphanages are available for adoption. Adoptions Forever, Inc. will assist in identifying available children. The Bulgarian children for adoption are often of Gypsy heritage with dark skin and big brown eyes and dark hair, Bulgarian or Ethnic mix of Gypsy, Asian & Turkish. Bulgarian children or babies under three (3) years old are less available for adoption than older children. Adopting a baby from Bulgaria is almost impossible.Bulgarian laws make the adoption process longer than other Eastern European programs. When your dossier is complete and translated, you will travel to Bulgaria to see the child / baby that has been referred to you and sign the Intent to Adopt. This trip can be done in approximately three to five days.
